Sara's Adventure (1953)

Eleven years after their last appearance in Highland Holiday in 1942, Sara and Caroline returned in a very short story called Sara's Adventure in the Collins' Girls' Annual of 1953 and reprinted in Crackerjack in 1959. This is a beautiful very detailed scan of the scene at customs, drawn by R. A. Branton, who also provided illustrations for the Susan series. Vanessa and John can be seen behind Sara.
